Installation Process
Lasting Impressions’ approach to new driveways on the Wirral is revolutionarily simple. No mess, no crowds of builders hanging around, no weeks of half finished work and no weeds and breakage. All it takes is a few days and a handful of workmen from our experienced team to complete the job. With no hassle or stress involved, a new driveway is not something which you need to postpone any longer.
We use an innovative, new process to create beautiful concrete driveways on the Wirral and surrounding areas. The benefits to this are numerous; with a solid concrete surface you will enjoy a weed free, crack free driveway for many, many years. Because your driveway is not made up of thousands of individual bricks or tiles which are liable to break, your driveway will be more enduring and hard-wearing.

On the morning of the first day, we arrive and confirm a few details before we begin. Our team of workmen then start the 4” stone foundation. This ground preparation is essential to ensure the longevity and stability of your new driveway.
We then install the concrete – a no mess, quick process which is then followed by the base coat and release powder.
Your selected pattern is then imprinted onto the concrete. We make use of trade approved, tough rubber mats to ensure an even, consistant appearance
The imprinted concrete is then left to set hard which usually takes about 24-48 hrs. Once it has set we return to rinse off the release powder and insert the expansion joints.
Your driveway is now ready for you to walk on, however, it’s not quite ready to be driven on just yet. Our team returns on a dry day to apply the seal which completes the process and leaves you with a fantastic new driveway.
We are committed to absolute customer satisfaction and we realise that this is aided through clear and ongoing communication. This communication begins with our initial consultation when we meet with you to discuss your preferences on colour and patterns. We also answer any questions you might have, addressing any concerns and providing an estimation of cost etc. This degree of communication is then maintained throughout the entire project – ensuring you always know what is happening.
